Calculate the statutory value.

Enter the company number and see the outcome of the statutory formula.

The calculation uses the financial year ending in 2025, or the figures you enter yourself.

The statutory fallback value is equity plus four times EBITDA. It is not a substantiated valuation, but it shows the value the tax authority can use without a report.

Calculate the statutory value

Enter the company number. We take equity and EBITDA from the annual accounts with a financial year ending in 2025, as filed with the National Bank of Belgium, and apply the statutory formula.

The capital gains tax applies to shares you hold as a private individual. Do you hold your shares through a company, such as a top holding? Then enter that company's enterprise number: the calculation must relate to the company whose shares are privately held.

We keep the company number and the outcome to improve the calculator. How long we keep it and how to have it deleted is set out in the privacy statement.

This is the outcome of the statutory fallback formula, not the substantiated value of your company and not a valuation report. Whether the real value is higher follows from an examination of your figures.

Common questions

Is the outcome a valuation report?

No. This is the outcome of the statutory fallback formula, not the substantiated value of your company and not a valuation report.

Where do the figures come from?

From the annual accounts with a financial year ending in 2025, filed with the National Bank of Belgium. If the lookup does not succeed, you enter equity and EBITDA yourself.

Why is the outcome lower than my company is worth?

The formula calculates from the annual accounts; it ignores your order book, your margins and your market. Without a report, that difference is taxed later.

Want to know whether this is enough

One hour is enough to assess whether a valuation report changes anything for your company.
