What you can expect from us, and what we need from you.

These terms apply to the use of this website and to every engagement placed with Endie. Each engagement is also set out in writing in an engagement letter, stating the price and the scope of the work. Where the engagement letter differs from these terms, the engagement letter prevails.
The engagement
- What we deliver
- A reasoned valuation report of the shares at a fixed reference date, with the method note and the documents supporting the outcome.
- What we do not deliver
- No tax, legal or investment advice, no tax return, no guarantee about the tax treatment of a later sale, and no audit or assurance opinion on your annual accounts.
- Independence
- The report is signed by a professional who is not your usual practitioner. We do not take on that role after the report either.
- Your cooperation
- You provide complete and accurate documents and tell us what affects value. The outcome rests on what you supply; we check it for consistency but perform no audit.
- Price
- Per file, agreed in writing in advance in the engagement letter. Payment within the term stated on the invoice. Late payment attracts statutory interest and the statutory compensation.
The calculator on this site
- Indicative
- The calculator applies the statutory fallback formula to the figures from the filed annual accounts or to figures you enter yourself. The outcome is an indication, not a valuation report and not advice.
- Source of the figures
- The figures come from the annual accounts as filed with the National Bank of Belgium. Errors or gaps in that filing carry through into the result.
- Do not base a decision on it alone
- Do not take a tax or wealth decision on the calculator alone. Have the figures reviewed in a file first.
Further
- Liability
- We work carefully and to the standards of the profession. Our liability remains limited to direct loss and to the amounts covered by the professional indemnity insurance, as set out in the engagement letter. Indirect loss, lost profit and the tax consequences of a decision you take yourself are excluded.
- Intellectual property
- The texts, images and models on this site and in the report remain Endie's. You may use and produce the report for the purpose for which it was made, including to the tax authorities and to your advisers.
- Confidentiality
- What we see in a file stays within the file. The practitioner's professional secrecy applies in full.
- Complaints
- Send a complaint through the contact form on this site. We reply within thirty days. If it stays unresolved, you can turn to the disciplinary body of the profession.
- Governing law
- Belgian law. In the event of a lasting dispute the Belgian courts have jurisdiction under the rules of the Judicial Code. For consumers, the jurisdiction the law grants them applies in addition.
